Talk about a 180

It's amazing how quickly your life can change.

I'm not talking about my pregnancy, although I know that my life will never, ever be the same after this baby is born.

But I've got about 4 1/2 more months to plan for that.

No, I'm talking about something else.

One minute, I'm walking down the isles at Smart & Final (or as the Man calls it, Fart & Smile).

I'm already on edge trying to get a ward party put together and dealing with other various issues,

when my husband calls me from his cell phone.

Something he never does while he's at work.

Something is going on.

He got a call from Midwestern University Dental School here in Glendale, AZ.

The school that turned down his application? Yeah.

Well,

They want him.

Next year?

No.

Now.

Uh....

Seriously?

Yeah. School's already been in session a week and someone dropped out.

I'm still recovering from the shock. He's in.

HE'S IN!!!!!!!!!

No more interviews, no more biting our nails, no more crossing our fingers, no more worrying and wondering.

Ladies and gentlemen, loved ones who have cheered us on, everyone who has hoped and prayed for this moment to finally happen....

Introducing Midwestern University's newest Dental School Student and future Dr. S!

The Man. My best friend, my love, my husband!

Who also happens to be the smartest, handsomest, bestest man alive.

He quit his job that day. With about ten seconds to make a decision, he had no other choice. His manager, bless her, was VERY supportive.

I'm ashamed to say I was bummed that we aren't moving somewhere cool with lots of neat vacation spots and four lovely seasons. But every moment we get more excited.

I can't wait to go into work on Monday and tell my boss where my husband is. Because when I bade farewell to my coworkers for the weekend, the Man was a loan officer at a credit union.

Now he's a dental school student. Our lives have changed literally in the blink of an eye.

AAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!

I still can't believe it.

Although yes I was planning on a few visits to wherever you were. Now we get to enjoy you & your little miss much more often! And I will be able to photograph the dickens out of that little peach. Can't wait. Life is good!
