Keep Going

I started running as soon as I was able to after recovering from the c-section. I've never really been a very good runner so it's taken me a while to build up to where I am now.

I'm at about 3 and a 1/2 miles in 45 minutes. My goal is 5 miles.

and I love it.

I didn't think I would like running so much. I used to hate it with a passion. But with music from Pandora, which gives me a TON of variety, some success with weight loss and tummy shrinkage, and a little angel cheering me on, I've fallen in love with it.

On my run today, along my normal route, I came across this sign:
Sweet!
I don't now why it was there. It might be for a garage sale or some other event... but it gave me a great big smile and I did exactly what it told me! Keep going.

I need me one of those signs for fridge door, so I know not to stop and open it every three seconds. I just need to keep going, right on by. :D

Way to go on the running!

That is so great! I am anxious to get running again. I have to get new shoes and we live smack downtown so running in this area just seems wierd;) I was just talking about it with Aaron this morning..and I have got to figure it out! Another downer is that I have plantar fasciitis--which is a major pain. literally. heehee.

Hopped over here from Yours, Mine and Ours. I adore running! I got hooked after my second child was born. It rocks! Good luck! (Also, Meredith linked up mentioning your obsession with the royal wedding, of which I'm also obsessed.)

Amy! I didn't know you had a blog!! I saw this sign too last week & I wanted to pull over take a picture of it because it made me smile as well. A good reminder for life in general, don't you think?
